Intercontinental cut of baseball 1997

The intercontinental Coupe of baseball 1997 is the 13th edition of this test putting at the catches the best national selections. The final stage was held of the 1 {{er}} with the August 8th 1997 with Barcelona. The meetings were played at stages of Montjuic and Viladecans.

Format of the tournament

Each selection plays against the seven others at the time of the first turn. The four best teams qualify themselves for the final stage with direct elimination (semi-finals and finales). If a team carries out of more than 10 points after the beginning of the 7th handle, the match is stopped ( mercy rule ). -->
