The department French of the Hauts-de-Seine includes/understands 5 communities of agglomeration and 1 Communauté of communes gathering 21 communes out of the 36 of the department.

EPCI without clean taxation

Many intercommunity associations without clean taxation carry on their activity in the territory.

  • SIPPEREC - Intercommunity association of the Periphery of Paris for Electricity and the Communication networks which ensures
    • for 80 communes (more Paris for its Bois de Boulogne and of Vincennes) and 3 million inhabitants (1.678.935 subscribers which consume 15.774 GWh) the competence of the public service of the distribution of electricity
    • of many public service delegation for telecommunications, that it either by cable (31 communes, or 106.000 inhabitants), by current pourtor in line, infrastructures with very high banc, installation of 470 km black Fiberoptic, or more than 1.200 points of connections placed at the disposal of the operators: 95% of offers DSL dégroupées in Paris region use this infrastructure.
  • SIGEIF - Intercommunity association for Gas and Electricity in Ile-de-France, created in 1901, federates 176 communes, that is to say 4,9 million inhabitants for competence Public service of the distribution of the gas (including 55 communes, accounting for 1,2 million inhabitants, also délégée the to him public service of the distribution of electricity ,

  • SEDIF - Trade union of Water of Ile-de-France, created in 1923, this intercommunity association gathering 144 communes of the Paris region on a territory including/understanding seven departments, manages the public service of water , in order to produce and to distribute water to 514.000 subscribers, is more than 4.000.000 of consumers. With approximately 1 million m3 distributed each day the SEDIF is the greatest water public service in France. It distributes a drinking water to 4 million inhabitants in Ile-de-France.

  • SIFUREP - Trade union of the communes of the Paris region for the funerary service, created in 1905 in the tread of the Law of sépartion of the Churches and the State it has as an aim:

    • to ensure in the 71 communes of the departments of the Hauts-de-Seine, the Seine-Saint-Denis, and the the Valley-of-Marne representing a population of more than 2.700.000 inhabitants, the service external of the undertaking,
    • the control of the management of three contracts of Public service delegation:
      • For the service external of the undertaking,
      • construction and exploitation of crématorium of the Mount-Valérien with Nanterre,
      • construction and exploitation of crématorium of the Valley-of-Beaver with Arcueil.
With the foot of each dwelling, the communal or departmental sewers collect waste water and direct them towards the emissary of the SIAAP (enormous pipes from 2,5 to 6 m in diameter, located up to 100 m of depth which transport them to the factories of purification. The waste water is removed there from carbonaceous, nitrogenized and phosphated pollution that they contain before being rejected into the Seine and Marne.
The SIAAP manages as follows:
    • 2.350 kilometers of sewers in Paris from which 1.600 km are worth visiting.
    • 160 kilometers of emissary from 2,5 to 4 meters in diameter hidden from 10 to 100 meters under ground.
    • the basin of the Plain located under the Stade de France which stores 165.000 m3 of rain water.
    • the basin of the Hay-the-Pinks which stores 80.000 m3 of water rain.
    • the tunnel tank of Cachan, which stores 55.000 m3 of water stored rain.
    • the basin of Arcueil, which stores 24 0000 m3 of water rain.
    • the Proudhon basin, which stores 15.000 m3 of water rain.
    • the basin of Antony which stores 115.000 m3 of water rain.
    • its factories of purification of Achères, Valenton, Doves, Noisy-the-Large and soon with Triel-sur-Seine and the Blanc-Mesnil
