Intercar is a Québécois transport company rested by Mr. Georges Gilbert in 1959
History
The company, modest at its beginnings, knows a notable growth when, in 1989, it acquired of the interurban connections between the areas of Quebec, of the Saguenay-Lake-Saint-Jean and the Coast-North.
The head office is with Ville of Saguenay, in the district Jonquière, where also a repair shop in the same building is found, whereas the company has a place of important business to Quebec and installations in nine cities of Quebec.
In 1998, the company creates Transport Adapted Intercar and buys two school transport company. In 2001, it acquires of division saguenéenne Groupe Gaudreault. Since these purchases, Intercar account approximately 400 employees and 375 vehicles which are used for interurban transport, school and adapted. The Intercar Group consists of 17 subsidiary companies.

Color of the buses
At the beginning, their color was the orange white, it and the green Since 1995, there is the black which was added has this panoply of color.

Since the October 31st 2003, there exists a new transport system of parcel. This new system names Expédibus.
