Intel GMA

The Graphics Media Accelerator or GMA is a GPU from Intel integrated directly into the chipset of various mother charts. This integrated graphics card allows the assembly of a PC without external graphics card the mother chart, which makes it possible drastiquement to decrease the total purchase price of the machine. GMA is in general used in the desktop machines of line entry or the laptops.

  • GMA 900 : first version for the chipsets of the family of the i915G

  • GMA 950: second version for the chipsets i945G
  • GMA 3000: for the chipsets 946GZ, Q965 and Q963
  • GMA 3100: for the chipsets G31, G33, Q33 and Q35
  • GMA X3000: major change of architecture, chipset G965
  • GMA X3100: mobile version of X3000, used with the 965GM
  • GMA X3500: for the chipset G35
