Insurance-group
A insurance-group or a group insurance is a system of insurance open to all the members of the same community (ex: employed of a company or an institution, members of a profession, borrowers of a bankā¦).
Recipients
Such a contract-group applies in an obligatory way, or in certain cases, according to an optional system of subscription reserved for the members of the group.
Methods
The contract comprises standard clauses of contribution and cover applicable to all the subscribers, which leaves only very weak possibilities of personalized modulation.
The tariffs, being negotiated for a whole population, are often more favorable than in individual contracts. Sometimes they profit from a subsidy, for example in the form of assumption of responsibility partial or total of the contributions by the company.
Examples
That can be the case for example for a system complementary to precaution disease-accidents or collective a death or for the life insurance related to loans habitats
