Instrumental music

One understands by instrumental music , all Musique exclusively intended for instruments. This concept is thus opposed to that vocal Musique, this because of the particular treatment usually reserved for the voice.

General information

Accompaniment of the vocal music

So many musical genres belongs into clean to the instrumental music (for example, in the Classical music, the sonata, the Concerto, the Symphonie, etc), it very frequently arrives that instruments are requested in parts of vocal Musique (opera, Chanson, Musical comedy, Jazz, etc).

Classification

According to the Standard of music concerned, the classification of the purely instrumental kinds can be carried out according to manpower of the formation of destination (Soliste S, small unit, Orchestre…), and possibly, taking into account the family of the instruments concerned (cords, percussions, winds…).

Instrumental soloist or together
