Instituto Tecnológico there of Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) or tce of Monterrey . The tce of Monterrey is a regrouping of universities based with the Mexico, whose principal center is based with Monterrey (Nuevo Leon) in the north of the Mexico. It is true institutions in Latin America, and comprise several formations, of Preparatoria (the equivalent of the college) in Masters (with the EGADE - only based on Monterrey), while passing by the 5 years of training to the ITESM. All the formations with the ITESM have an high level of continental recognition, the best for the Latin America

History of the ITESM

Monterrey was always the most industrialized city of Mexico, of share its proximity geographical with Texas. The world economic influence is thus paramount for the activities of the city. After the economic recessions of 1929 and Second world war, the Mexicans had large difficulties in leave to study in the United States. Eugenio Garza Sada, director of the Cuauhtémoc brewery, have thus the idea to create an institute of professional and technical studies, helped by the many notable ones of industries of the city (Beer, Steel, Cement, Paintings…).

In 1943, the EISAC (Enseñanza E Investigación Superior Asociacion Civil) is thus creates as well as the ITESM the same year. This school was based in the " Barrio Antiguo" close to the center town. The first campus was built in 1947, on the site of the current campus, but counted only two buildings. The large current campus started to be built since 1974, and of new buildings are always create thanks to successes of the campus. Currently, the tce counts 6 buildings of classrooms (including two of 6 stages), 15 student buildings of housing, 4 administrative buildings (of which YIELD it and the CETEC - to see photographs), a stage of 37.000 people (the residents are Rayados de Monterrey (football) and Borregos (American football)) as well as many sporting centers.

In addition to the large campus located Monterrey has (Avenida Garza Sada for the university, Avenida Fundadores for the EGADE), the ITESM has several institutes in various cities of the country. The prestige of the diploma is not the same one as in Monterrey however.

Given training

Several specialities are proposed by the tce of Monterrey. Originally regarded as “a school of engineers”, the tce since diversified and is famous for its economic, geopolitical and financial formations. The international students are not obliged to follow a speciality and are authorized to choose matters of varied specialities. Are exempted with the tce of Monterrey, Administration of Companies (Finance, Marketing, International Business,…), Public administration and Policy (Right, Economy, Géostratégie,…), Medicine & Biotechnology, Technologies Information and Electronics (Data-processing, Electronic, Telecommunications,…), Architecture (Energy, Automatic, Manufacture,…), Social sciences and Human (Journalism, Communication, Geopolitics,…). Some of the specialities are also exempted by the virtual university with which the school is provided. All the formations have an high level of continental recognition, the best for the Latin America. However, the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon (also based with Monterrey) has a better level in medicine.

Sport

All the sports are pratiquables with the tce of Monterrey, even if football and American football occupy a paramount place. The tce is equipped with a stage of 37.500 places, the Estadio Tecnológico, is rented with the football team of the CF Monterrey, club of the first Mexican division. The sportsmen of the university are gathered under the name of “Borregos”, name of the football team American of the school. With the basement of Central Estudiantil an impressive room of musculation is, with more than 200 workshops. A room is also in the residences of housing students. Moreover, four other sporting installations belong to the campus. The gymnasium, for the sports of combat, the tennis shoe or the volleyball ball; Campo Escamilla for football, football rapido as well as baseball; several football fields American and of Rugby; as well as a sporting center with beach volleyball and tennis shoe, tennis courts.

The tce of Monterrey has many partnerships with schools of the whole world, the the United States, the France and the Canada training the majority of the quota of the international pupils.
