Institute of the trades of the cinema of Normandy

The Institut of the Trades of the Cinema of Normandy (IMC Normandy) is a French private school of cinema, located at Cherbourg-Octeville. It is directed by Jean-Handbook Costa.

History

The school, founded in the form of a SCOP in October 2007, is located on the site of the old Rene Military hospital the Bottom of Cherbourg-Octeville. The institute is sponsored by the realizer Jean Pierre Jeunet (author in others of film: the fabulous destiny of Amélie Foal)

Formation

The institute proposes three formations over 3 years:
  • Directing (Realization)
  • special
  • Animation and effects (animation 2D, 3D and volume)
  • Acting (formation with the trades of the actor)
  • Its (formation with the trades of sound creation) (opening in octore 2008)
