Institute of the house of Bourbon
The Institut of the house of Bourbon is a recognized establishment of public utility, founded in 1973 and the purpose of which is to better do to know the dynasty capétienne (or Maison of France), family which has reigned not only on the France but also on many other countries of Europe for more than thousand years.
The Spain and the Luxembourg today are still directed by sovereigns Capétiens.
Maison of Bourbon is one of two official names of the dynasty capétienne since 1768 (date of extinction of the Courtenay).
The Institut of the house of Bourbon is currently chaired by the duke of Bauffremont (born in 1922), and the protective and honorary president is the prince Louis de Bourbon (born in 1974), duke of Anjou and Bourbon, chief of the House of elder Bourbon and France and of the Bourbons and applicant legitimist with the throne of France.
