Institute of the high cinematographic studies

The Institut of the high cinematographic studies ( IDHEC ) was a French school of Cinéma, founded in 1943 by Marcel the Herbarium and the type-setter Yves Baudrier who taught there of 1945 to 1965.

This school exempted a teaching specialized in the trades of the cinema (realization, assembly, etc) which extended on a three years cycle.

Since the year 1986, the European Foundation for the trades of the image and the sound (Fémis) succeeded to him.
