The Institut of sciences applied and economic ( ISAE ) is a center associated CNAM with Beirut (Lebanon).

The ISAE

The institute of Sciences Applied and Economic (Center of Lebanon associated with the CNAM) is an institution of higher education which aims at promoting the continuing education which allows to the employees companies and industries to evolve/move in their professions while keeping their employment.

The institute made an effort, since its creation in 1968, to offer formations diplômantes accredited by France or Lebanon in order to concretize the following objectives:

  • To develop teaching applied, in technical fields and professional various, in collaboration with the principal economic and industrial partners of the country, in order to ensure the adequacy of the formations with the evolution of the trades.

  • To promote continuing professional education in order to improve competences of the employees in the state enterprises and private.
  • To propose formations centered on the competences sought by the companies through services to measure meeting the needs expressed by the companies concerned.

To achieve these goals, the ISAE pursued a policy being based on the following principles:

  • To offer a scientific and technical teaching of quality, opened with all, school fees in agreement with the public vocation of the institute.

  • To contribute to the social advancement and professional of the employees in their offering the occasion to continue targeted academic works allowing them to improve their conditions of social life and professional.
  • To open new formations meeting real needs expressed by professional environments, so as to ensure a complementarity with the formations offered by the public universities Lebanese.

The ISAE is the fruit of a partnership between:

  1. the Lebanese University (UL),

  2. the National Academy of Arts and Trades (CNAM) of Paris, and
  3. Lebanese Association for Technical and Economic Scientific Teaching (ALESTE).
