MBA Institute , in the past Institute of International Management of Paris , is a business school post-vat Franco-American based in Paris.

Presentation

Created in 1982 by the group of preparatory classes IPESUP, the MBA Institute has as an main objective to direct its students towards the best programs American and European MBA.

The admission is done via the contest NOT.

To integrate a program MBA, several years of track records must be accomplished once the four years finished within IMIP MBA Institute. Thereafter, the MBA Institute proposes a coaching personalized with each one of its former students to prepare the file of admission.

Schooling

The course is carried out into 4 or 5 years, the last year being optional. The first two years are general courses which follow the program of the American businesses schools.

The 2 last years are years of specialization:

in third year, each student can choose the courses which it will follow during his program of exchange abroad;
in fourth year, a specialization must be selected among finance, marketing or the supply chain .

At the time of the 3rd year of study, two options are possible:

one six-month period in foreign university (according to the partnerships, the principal ones in the United States are Université of Emory, Tulane University, University off Florida, ITESM, San Fransisco State University, or in Europe in Madrid, Salamanque, Rome, Denmark or Sweden);
one six-month period of training course (minimum 5 months) to carry out abroad.

During the 4 years of studies, the students profit from a formation with the GMAT (which they pass in 4th year) and with the TOEFL (that they pass in 2nd year).

In all, the students carry out on average 18 to 24 weeks of training course during their schooling, then the fourth year ends in a training course of end of study which lasts 5 to 6 months.

The distribution is done in the following way:

6 weeks minimum in 1st year between May and August
6 weeks in November - December then 6 weeks between June and August in 2nd year
6 weeks minimum of returning training course for the students of study abroad between May and August (or 9 months maximum of training courses for the students in Work Abroad)
5 to 6 months of training course of end of study in 4th year

The MBA Institute delivers a B.B.A (Bachelor off Business Administration). It is a title approved level II (procedure of renewal in progress).
