Institute of Lebedev physique
The Institute of physique Lebedev , affiliated with the Academy of Science of Russia, is a Russian research institute in the field of the Physique. It is also known under the name of Institut Lebedev of physics or more simply of Institut Lebedev .
He was baptized in the honor of the Russian physicist Petr Nikolaevich Lebedev. In Russian, it is often named FIAN (ФИАН), where FI means Fizitcheskii Institout (institute of physics) and YEAR Akademiya Naouk (Academy of Science).
Among very varied research activities, the institute is known for its development of a technique of crystallization of the Zircon cubic ZiO2 (which was named Fianit in Russian, according to FIAN). These last years, the institute became one of the leaders in the field of the physical economy.
