Inspector the Bur

Inspecteur the Bur is a police comedy left in 1980 Claude Zidi, with Coluche and Gerard Depardieu.

Synopsis

Wire of a hero of the police force cut down by Pierrot the insane one, Michel Clément (Coluche) is far from equalizing his father. Encouraged by his mother to follow the paternal traces, it obtains accuracy its diploma for the occupation of police inspector and is found training with the PJPP (Judicial police of the Police headquarter). There, its awkwardness causes him many problems, but in spite of that, Michel dreams to stop the public enemy n°1, the pitiless Roger Morzini (Gerard Depardieu). This one, finding its face well too known, undergoes an operation of cosmetic surgery. The chance wants that Morzini, unrecognizable, binds friendship with Michel which, in all naivety, will reveal all the secrecies of the police force to him not to be captured…

The character of Morzini is inspired by Jacques Mesrine and that of Prossent father is inspired by Robert Harrowing.
