Innoko
The river Innoko is a river of the west of the Alaska, affluent of the Yukon. The origin of the name Innoko probably comes from a name deg Hit' year for the river. The colonial administration Russian called the river Shiltonotno , Legon or Tlegon , Chagelyuk or Shageluk and Ittege according to the times.
Description
The river runs initially towards north starting from its source in the south of Cloudy Mountain in the Kuskoswim Mountains then moves towards south-west to its confluence with Yukon close to Holy Cross. The river is inside the Innoko National Wildlife Refuge.
