Initial D

Initial D (頭文字 D, kashiramoji D ) is a Manga of Shuichi Shigeno from which the publication began in Japan in 1995 in Young Magazine.

This manga was adapted in cartoon, video game and Film live.

History

Initial D is one of the many sporting series which one finds among the Anime S Japanese . It is question here of automobile races there consisting to descend or assemble a mountain (that of Akina is very present in the animates ). Takumi Fujiwara has been the son of an old runner of this sport Bunta Fujiwara, and delivers Tofu for five years in the small hour to the wheel of its car, a Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 (called 86) at the time when the history starts. It will be, against its liking with the beginning, brought to run in the 86 that lends to him his/her father vis-a-vis competitors at the wheel of more powerful racing cars all the ones than the others. But it will become largest thereafter of the " street racers" …

It as should be known as Akina is not the real name of the mountain, the real name is Haruna.

Film

There is also a Film live carried out by Andrew Lau and Alan Mak, left in 2005. Takumi is represented by Jay Chou. Its history takes again the major events of the series until little before the beginning of Project D. It is available in French at Video TF1 since March 22nd, 2007.

It should be noted that the film does not respect at all the history of animated; the character of the characters is very different and little in the spirit: in particular Itsuki and Sudo Kyoichi; Itsuki seems there the son of the manager of the service station inter alia.

The realization is also summary, one feels that the realizer had few means. Ca resembles a compilation of principal the first two seasons facts, but it is unfortunately very décousu, and only somebody having seen these two seasons will be able to include/understand film. The interest is altogether very reduced, it is true that to condense two seasons in a film is something of difficult.
