Ingrid of Sweden
The Ingrid princess of Sweden was born with Stockholm the March 28th 1910 and died the November 7th 2000. It is the girl of Gustave VI Adolphe of Sweden and Marguerite de Connaught. Marry of king Frederic of the Denmark with which it formed a linked couple, the Ingrid queen was sovereign very liked of its country of adoption. The couple had three girls: the queen Marghrete II (which reigns on Denmark since the death of his/her father in 1972), the princess Bénédikte and the princess Anne-Marie (wife of the king Constantin II of Greece). In 1953, a referendum made it possible to the women to go up on the throne since the couple had only three girls. Its funeral took place with Copenhagen at the end of 2000 in the presence of many crowned heads.
