Ingenuus
Decimus Lælius Ingenuus , called Ingenuus , was a Roman general . He was one of those which usurped imperial purple under the emperor Gallien: he was proclaimed in 260 by the legion of Mésie.
Overcome close to Mursia in Pannonia (today Eszék in Hungary), it disappeared without it being known if it had been killed.
But the " term; ingenuus" also indicate, in ancient Rome, the citizen of birth. In opposition to the " servus".
