Inertage
The inertage is a technique used in the industry which consists in replacing a explosive atmosphere by a Gaz or a gas mixture in Combustible and not Comburant. It is thus possible to treat the Ciel of a Citerne.
The gas more used is the Azote.
Of enology, the inertage consists in using a neutral gas (CO2, Azote, Argon) to replace the air in contact with the juice or Vin with an aim of limiting the phenomena of Oxydation which they are of chemical origin or enzymatic
