Indigo (driving of returned)

See also: Indigo (homonymy)

Indigo is a Moteur of returned 3D photorealist. He uses a method of calculating particularly based on the Méthode of Monte Carlo. At the time of returned, the image becomes less and less disturbed, the stop of calculation being left to the will of the user. This technique has good performances (not skewed method) but required much time. Thus one returned which could take tens of minutes (with a raytracer) can take tens of hours with Indigo.

Indigo can carry out a Rendu starting from a file Xml of scenes created with Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, Rhino 3D, 3D Studio max, Softimage, etc

Currently, Indigo is developed only for the platform Microsoft Windows, however, it functions very well in the environments Unix using the software WINE.

However, a version under development for Linux appeared.
