Indiana Jones , of his true name Henry Walden Jones, Jr. , is a character of fiction created by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Strongly inspired of the heroes of films of adventure of the golden age of the American cinema , he is the hero of four films, televised series and several Video games. The adventures of Indiana Jones proceed mainly in the Années 1930, right before the Second world war. The series and the prolog of the third cinematographic shutter recall the adolescence of Indiana Jones at the beginning of the 20th century.

Inspirations

The first inspiration of Indiana Jones is the universe of the Comic S of adventure of the Forties whose Lucas was regaled. Jim the Jungle (Jim Jungle), the hero of Alex Raymond, is the symbol of these adventurers in fight with savage enemies within a tropical world with the pitiless traps. Interpreters

The principal interpreter of the character of Indiana Jones is the actor Harrison Ford. It is partly this character who (with the character of Han Solo in the hexalogy Star Wars ) brought the recognition of the public to him. In the televised series the Adventures of the young person Indiana Jones , several actors interpret the character at various ages: Corey Carrier at 10 years, Sean Patrick Flanery at 20 years, and George Hall at 93 years.
