Index of Gaussen

According to Henri Gaussen (French Botanist and biogéographe), a given period is known as arid, when: P < {2 \ times T}

(P: Precipitation S total in Millimetre S on the period given, T: average Temperature in °C over the period given)

This index is very useful as for the use of a Diagramme ombrothermic, this last always built on the model of scale: 1 °C = 2 Misters.
