Independent electoral commission (Democratic republic of Congo)

The Independent electoral commission (CEI) is a “institution of support to the democracy” of the Congo (Kinshasa), created following the Constitution of the transition and the Global agreement and inclusive. This Congolese statutory body is autonomous as well administratively as financially, neutral and equipped with the legal personality. Its president is the abbot Apollinaire Malu Malu.

The purpose of the CEI is to organize the elections as a Democratic republic of Congo, it firstly organized the constitutional referendum in December 18th and 19th 2005.
