Independencia (province)
Independencia is one of the 32 provinces of the Dominican Republic. Its chief town is Jimaní. It is limited to north by the province of Elías Piña, to the east by those of Baoruco and Barahona, in the south by that of Pedernales and in the west by Haiti.
