Inaccessible island (Tristan da Cunha)
The Inaccessible island , left the Archipelago Tristan da Cunha, is the emerged part of an extinct volcano. Of a surface of 14 km ², it is located at 45 km in the south-west of Tristan da Cunha ()
She was discovered by the Dutchmen in 1652,150 years after the discovery of Tristan da Cunha. She was named “inaccessible” from the difficulty of accosting there. With the island Gough, it is a protected natural reserve which was registered on the Liste of the world heritage by UNESCO.
