In good company

In good company ( In Good Company ) is an American film carried out by Paul Weitz, left in 2004.

Synopsis

DaN Foreman (Dennis Quaid) is a framework of publicity for a periodic publication. Following the acquisition of the company, daN brutally has a new owner, Carter Duryea (Topher Grace), which with half of its age. The situation becomes complicated when Carter falls in love with the girl daN, beautiful coed 18 year old, Alex (Scarlett Johansson).

The film is not only one comedy romantic which concentrates on the relation between Carter and Alex. In fact, Alex and Casing are together only for one half of film, and they separate before the end from film. The intrigue concentrates on the effects of corporative acquisition in the lives of daN Foreman and its family, and how the life of Casing is changed in a permanent way because of its experiments with daN and Alex. The conclusion of film shows the restoration of the " status quo ". Casing loses its station and daN recovers its old work.

One of the important topics of film is the presence of an environment of hostile acquisition. Many minor characters in film lose their stations because of these changes.
