beginnings of the EAG

In 1912, Mr. Deschamps, director of the higher elementary school boys of Guingamp, creates a company of physical education called “Ahead”. The selected colors are the red and the black. During the season 1921-22, the E.A.G rents, for 99 years, the ground of Montbareil after having used the parade grounds, the ground of the New Smallholding and the stage of Cozen.
