In My Time off Dying
" In My Time off Dying " is the third song of Physical Graffiti , sixth album of the group of Rock English Led Zeppelin left in 1975. It is a song of folk/blues traditional, inspired of the song Jesus Make Up My Dying Bed , recorded by Blind Willie Johnson and later taken again by Joshua White, Bob Dylan (on its first album]) and Martin Gore. This song is longest that the group recorded in studio: more than eleven minutes. In My Time off Dying was played at the time of the round 1975 and of some dates in 1977, during which Robert Plant dedicated this song with Denis Healey, British Minister for Finance member of the Labor Party. The group never finished in the same way this song because of its nature with being played impromptu. The version studio finishes with: " Oh, don' T you make it my dyin', dyin', dyin'… " and at this time, one intends to cough a member of the group (probably John Bonham) or a member of the team of recording. Robert Plant benefits to add a key of humor and finished the song from it by saying cough (“to cough”). And Bonham exclaims just after by saying " That' S gonna Be the one, hasn' T it? ". Ironically, Plant really any more did not hold to sing it after having been victim of an car accident in 1975. It pointed out later " Why the hell did I sing that song? ". ==Anecdote== *Il acts of the one of the rare songs that Jimmy Page played in concert on its guitar Danelectro black and white.
