For that, it must penetrate the fortress of this last, made up of nine turns; the access to the turn is each time protected by a strengthened door and the player must find the password of it; in addition, the access to the last tower is not possible that by assembling a total of six pieces of music forming thus the password of the ninth turn.
Principle
Impossible Mission 2 is a play of standard platform, the player moves tables in tables (not run) with the information retrieval which will enable him to obtain the access to the other turns as with the pieces of music which will give access to him the last tower.
The turn are separated by corridors comprising an armor-plated door opening only with insertion from the good of password; and each turn is made of rooms laid out the ones with the top of the others and accessible by an elevator.
Each turn is based on a different topic: data processing, cars, offices…
Enemies
Various robots traverse the base of professor Atombender, thus disturbing the evolution of the player:
- Robot of safety, it is able to draw on the player by utilsant lasers, but on a short distance.
- Robot of maintance, it can push the player thus the precipitant in holes mortals.
- Robot kamikaze, precipitates on the player with an aim of killing it while exploding
- Minor Robot, deposits mines mortals
- Robot plague, inoffensive, this robot remains perturbing by the fact that it moves all the time, thus modifying the provision of the elevators and the systems set up by the player.
The player temporarily has for his defense the possibility of immobliser the robots (by using the computers of the base), but it can also pose bombs and mines (what makes it possible to create holes in the ground or to destroy the robots). Via computers, it can also take the control of certain robots.
