The imperial Garde is the main force armed with the Imperium in the Univers of fiction of Warhammer 40,000. In this extremely dark universe, humanity is directed by a dictatorial and fanatic organization, Imperium.

Primarques, Spaces Navy and the beginning of the Great Crusade

The Emperor needed large generals to conclude his task of reconquest. Lords of Terra

High command

Masters of war

The Title of Master of war is very only seldom given and to carry it is the greatest prestige which an officer can reach. This station is highest available in the imperial Guard, with share the High Lord responsible for this branch of Imperium. The Planetary Governors are men and women whose statute is to reign on a planet in the name of the Emperor and of Imperium. Troops

The Assassins can also be used to cut down the elite of the enemy and to destabilize it.

In defense, the guard is buried in kilometers of distinct or strengthened bunkers. It also builds, if the place and time allow it, of the gigantic fortresses which offer a very good refuge and which make it possible to hold durably of the whole areas. It is as interesting to note as the local populations are often used to build these buildings, most of the time against their liking.

These many tactics are indexed in a handbook, the Tactica Imperium , which is a collection of councils and battles lived, intended to help the officer to manage his troops and to make the good decisions in a battle. Of course the councils in which it abounds are not to apply such as they are, because it is rare that several battles resemble each other points by points. It is thus preferable to adapt them according to the circumstances of the battle. Helmet and bullet-proof jacket

Laser rifle is the most used weapon universe of Warhammer 40,000, and this for only one and single reason: it is the weapon of equipment of the imperial Guard. Bolter
Rifle bolter, or bolter, is superb but capricious deadly weapon designed for the combat with short range.

Launch Flamme and Lance Flame heavy
According to the oldest legends of the Worship of Mars, the first specimens of Lance Flame would have appeared in m2 on Terra, with the courses of bloodthirsty men confrontations who failed to reverse planet. Launch Flamme Leger Image: Also known Avertissement.JPG under the name of “gun with flames” or “burner”, this weapon is a reduced version of the traditional flame thrower. Its range is shorter but its effects also mortals. Its reduced size makes it possible to use it during a body with body. It equips sometimes the scout, but more often the top graded and the sections of attack of certain chapters (Blood Angel) or of Adepta Sororitas.

Heavy armament
Autocanons and Canons of attack

First ancestor of very fears Canon of attack carried by the tactical armours dreadnought, the gun of attack is an heavy weapon drawing from short gust from one to three shells of low gauge. These shells, not having a great value of penetration nor of explosion, are made to fight the heavy infantry and the light tanks which are usually seen on the battle fields of Imperium.

Dagger of combat

The dagger of combat is often one of the characteristics of a regiment. Each one of them having a model more or less different from the others. Leman Russ often have names, such as for example “Bonepounder”.

Model known: - Mk. XII: The armament of Mk. XII includes/understands side supports of weapons, chargers of energy and standard ammunition in option. - Mk. XIII: Shielding and armament similar to Mk. XII. Mk.XIII is produced inter alia on Phaeton. Those produced on this planet have moreover of an additional blade of bulldozer and an improved thermal generator. - Mk. XIV “Damocles”: Withdrawn of the active service because of dysfunctions of the unit of filtering. - Mk. XV “Phaethon”: Shielding and armament similar to Mk. XIII. Nevertheless, contrary to the preceding models, Mk. XV uses one crystalline battery generator. This battery meets only the auxiliary energy needs, the main part of the operational needs being always ensured by the thermal combuster engine.

Leman Russ Demolition contracter: This tank is a current alternative of Leman rus. As its name indicates it, it is armed in the place with the howitzer with a Démolisseur gun. Its other options of armament remain the same ones as those of traditional Leman Russ, if it is not that its side turrets can accommodate multi-fuseurs or lance-plasma heavy. They have fine gunners and excellent in the urban combat or places where their famous capes enable them to infiltrate and to engage the enemy in shootings with short range to complete them with the body with body.
