Imperial (label)

Imperial is the label independent of a company discographic of La Nouvelle-Orléans. Created in 1947 with Los Angeles by Lew Chudd, the firm was first of all specialized in Rhythm and blues and the Rock “roll. Chudd repurchased Aladdin Records in 1960, then Minit Records in 1963. The same year, it yielded the company to Liberty Records.
