Imp of Isigny

Lutin of Isigny (1977-2003) was a racehorse French, born at Mrs. Annick Auvray in the Calvados (14) a few kilometres from Isigny. It was a trotter French male chestnut horse of 1,61 meter.
Career
Lutin of Isigny one is miraculé: the Tétanos strikes it whereas it is foal, but it overcomes the disease and is quickly affirmed to be a champion. In the middle of the Eighties, whereas the French horses move in all Europe and play thoroughly the challenge of the Grand European Circuit, Lutin of Isigny covers glory with the four corners of the continent, with the image of Idéal of Gazeau or Jorky.
Lutin of Isigny especially marked its time by its exploits on the other side of the Atlantic. In 1984, haloed its victory in the Price of America, it crosses first once the ocean and fact double hit by gaining the Challenge Cup and fire the International Trot, in other words the semi-official championship of the world of the trotters. In this last test where well little imagined it to impose itself, it dominates the American champion Sandy Bowl and is allowed to beat the record of the track. It gives that in 1985: even tariff that the previous year in the Challenge Cup and the International Trot. The exploit will never be equalized.
There become standard, Lutin of Isigny knew still a certain success, by giving in particular Vrai Imp, Gazouillis and the champion Général of the Lupin.
He dies of the continuations of one heart attack at the 27 years age in 2003.
