Definition

Each individual “is permanently bombarded” of Stimuli of various and varied origins:
  • Visual S, by the light waves perceived by the Pupil of the eyes.
  • Tactile S, acquired by the corpuscles of Meissner (pressure, texture) and of Paccini (temperature, pain) on the Skin.
  • Sound S, carried by the sound waves to which is sensitive the Cochlée of the Internal ear.
  • Olfactive S, perceived by the Mucous yellow of the Nose (which carries the nervous terminations of the olfactive Nerf).
  • Gustatory S, perceived by the gustatory buds on the level of the Language and the oral mucous membranes.

These stimuli are specific environments where they are produced, they take part in the environment and the identity of the place considered. the immersion consists in virtually replacing the subject in an environment, by artificially recreating the stimuli generated by this same environment in reality.
