Imamzadeh
A imamzadeh (meaning born from an Imam ) is a word Persan indicating a descendant of a Imam Chiite.
The word is also used to indicate a Mausolée specific to the Islam Chiite and in which, precisely, a imamzadeh is buried. In the popular tradition Shiite, the imamzadehs are honoured by respect for the Shiite Imams.
These mausoleums - which are widespread in many places in Iran, in Iraq and Afghanistan - many visitors and pilgrims for the Ziyarat attract.
Their interior architecture and their installations generally are very worked.
A typical example: Imamzadeh Saleh
