Imageboard

A imageboard is an anonymous BBS of division of images . This type of forum without system of inscription , which finds its origin in Japan with creation in 2001 of, largely developed and popularized in Occident (especially in the anglophone world) where one counts a broad number of sites of imageboards dividing same the " appreciably; culture" :

Anonymity : aim at dissuading the phenomena of click and resentment commun runs to the forums requiring an inscription with account of user (and what goes with: indication of the number of posted messages, statute and notoriety of the members, misadventures, etc).

Expiry of the threads ( wire of discussions ): aim at encouraging the users with poster permanently of new materials (iconographic or textual) because of constant pruning of the contents.

Abscence of inscription : aim at encouraging the concentration on the contents of the messages posted by the users and not on their row within the community (in term of seniority, reputation and prestige).
