Ilona Zrínyi

The countess Ilona Zrínyi (Croatian Jelena Zrinski ) (1643 - 1703) princess of Transylvania.

It was the girl of Peter IV Zrínyi (Croatian Petar IV Zrinski ) (1621 - 1671) and of Anna Katalin Frangepán (Croatian Frankopan ) died in 1672. His/her father round of applause of Croatia and Dalmatie Slavonie of 1665 with 1670 was accused of plot and treason by the emperor Léopold Ier de Habsbourg and was carried out in Vienna the March 30th 1671 with his young brother-in-law Ferenc Kristóf Frangepán (Croatian Fran Krsto Frankopan) (1643 - 1671).

In 1688, Ilona, her husband Imre Thököly being in captivity among Turks, is taken along to Vienna with his/her children after the fall of his castle of Munkács after three years of seat. His/her son Ferenc II Rakóczi is separated from his mother and is raised at the Jésuites under the monitoring of his tutor the archbishop Léopold Kollonich.

Ilona Zrínyi had married on March 1st 1666 François Rákóczi prince elected of Transylvania died in 1676, then in June 1682 Imre Thököly chief of the Hungarian rebellion against Habsbourg and prince de Transylvanie supported by the Sublime Door.
