Ilbide

Ilbide is the Basque word indicating way of dead the , of it (death) and bide (way). It is also called hilbide , erribide * (way of the country), korputzbide (way of the corpses), gorputzbide (literally: way of the bodies), kuutzebide ** (way of the cross), kurtzeko bide , andabide (way of the coffins), elzabide (way of the church), zurrunbide (way of the corpses (Drunk/Xiberoa/Zuberoa) etc It is the way which leads house to the church.

The funeral Procession, or those which accompany the corpse by the house Mortuaire with the church and the cemetery, must always pass by ways defined, fixed, joining together the house with its place of burial, the church or the cemetery. If ever one passes by another place, as of this moment the borrowed way will be declared way public.

Ilbide is to some extent a road Sacré E because it is hyphen established between the house and its burial, it is the way by where the Croix passes, deaths and the funeral procession, it is there that one burns the bed of late and that one requests for him the day of the burial.

Etymology

It means " dead " out of Basque. This relates to the human beings and the Abeille S (Erle), animal crowned at the Basque. For the animals, Domestic S or Wild S, one will employ the word Galdu .

Note

There does not exist kind ( male , female ) in the Basque language and all the letters decide. There is thus no association as for French or WHICH decides KI .
