Iléon

In Anatomy of the digestive System, the iléon is the third part (final) of the Small intestine upstream of the colon and downstream from the Jéjunum. It measures approximately 4,5 m at the human ones. It sticks to the colon by a crossroads called Cæcum.
pH of the iléon is in general between 7 and 8 (neutral or slightly alkaline).
