Iki

Iki (壱岐市; - shi) is a Japanese city of the Préfecture of Nagasaki. In 2004, the city had a population of 33.202 inhabitants and a density of 239.81 hab/km ². The total surface area is of 138,45 km ². The city was created in 2004 by the fusion of four cities: Gounoura, Katsumoto, Ashibe, and Ishida.

The iki is also a central concept in the Japanese thought.
