Ike Turner (born the November 5th 1931) is a singer and guitarist of Blues, Rhythm and blues and Rock.

Biography

Its first recognized recording is in 1951 with, recorded in the studios Sun Records. He is regarded as the first piece Rock' roll of the history of the musique.

He began a career in solo, before being a world success under the denomination of Ike & Tina Turner with his wife Tina Turner. The duet separated in 1976, Ike Turner taking again a career in solo.

In 2007, it gains the Grammy Award of the Best disc of traditional Blues.
