Ikaris

Ikaris is a character of the universe of Marvel Comics.

Origins

Ikaris is one of the Éternels Polaires, this branch of Eternal based in Polaria, in Siberia. His/her mother, a scientist, died during an experiment of teleportation whereas Ikaris was 300 years old. It had 710 of them when his/her father perishes in his turn at the time of a combat against a mutant snake.

It is his/her uncle Valkin who dealt with it until his majority, namely 1500 years at the Eternal ones. Ikaris became a combatant and for this reason faced the Deviating, sworn enemies of the Eternal ones. After a “visit” of Celestial, these gods of space at the origin of the creation of Eternal and Deviating, the Eternal ones decided to leave the Earth. Only a handle of the members of this race remained, of which Ikaris.

Capacities

Like all the Eternal ones, Ikaris is practically invulnerable.
It is almost not affected by time or the disease, and recovers rather quickly from its wounds.
Ikaris especially developed its physical capacities. It can raise more than one ton and half and fly at a speed of 1360 km/h, which is not with the range of all the Eternal ones.
On the other hand, its psychic capacities are less advanced. It can nevertheless probe the surface thoughts of not very advanced spirits and materialize of the mental illusions.
Its eyes and its hands project particularly powerful cosmic rays.
It also can téléporter.
