Igor Lazko is a pure artist and an authentic pianist. He is also an immense chambrist. He has at the most point this art of the " dire" with the keyboard which is the mark of the largest interpreters. He has an infallible technique (perhaps due to the regular frequentation of the work of Bach). The refined lyricism of its play, its symphonic projection of its allies to the spiritual power of its speech make its interpretations of a great authenticity, " a sound festival of a great beauty: with him the music becomes again what it was in the beginning, limpid, simple and pure" (A.M.M.).
Splendid recording recent (Suoni E Colori, Alexandre Brussilovsky, violin): sonata for violin and piano in the major one, C. FRANCK & sonata for violin and piano in major E flat, R. STRAUSS. Perhaps the most beautiful recording of the sonata for violin and piano of Franck.
