Igor Barrère

Igor Barrère , born the December 17th 1931 and dead the June 24th 2001, was a doctor of medicine, Journaliste and man of French television.

Biographical elements

He is the father of Anne Barrère, journalist and producer with TF1, wife of Robert Namias, director of the information of TF1. Anne Barrère was also, officially, adviser of Bernadette Chirac, wife of the former President of the Republic Jacques Chirac.

Course

Igor Barrère initially was assistant of' Orson Welles and Rene Clair.

It was one of the journalists of the emission-headlight of the French television of the years 1950-1960, Five columns with . It then specialized in the medical emissions, which made known with the French progress of medicine and the surgery.

Initially with ORTF then on TF1, it produced a great number of data transmission, of debate, but also of famous entertainments like the Head and the Legs or the invisible Camera . Producer, it also provided emissions to the Fifth.
