Ignaz Rudolph Schiner

Ignaz Rudolph Schiner is a Austrian Entomologiste , born in 1813 with Fronsburg and dead the July 6th 1873 with Vienna.

He is secretary in a ministry of Vienna. Its principal publication is the Fauna Austriaca. Die Fliegen (Diptera). Nach DER analytischen Method bearbeitet . It is him which supervises the edition of the Catalogus systematicus dipterorum Europae. W.M.W. Impensis: Societatis Zoologico-Botanicae (1864). Its collections are preserved at Natural history museum of Vienna.
