Ignacio Jordán Claudio of ESA LED Rio (June 4th 1742, Saragossa - May 21st 1814, Saragossa) is there a Naturaliste, a lawyer, a Spanish historian .
The centers of interests of Ignacio Jordán of ESA are very varied: Philology, Right, economy, Geology, Botanical and Zoology.
It receives an excellent formation as well in humanities as in the scientific disciplines. He studies the Greek and the Latin at the pious School of Saragossa and the Philosophie with the college Jesuit of Barcelona. He studies jurisprudence and obtains a title of doctor in right in 1764.

Accedit Enumeratio stirpium in eadem Regione noviter detectarum (1784) which wants to be to be a complete inventory of geology, fauna and flora of the Aragon. It is one of first Spanish to follow the system taxinomic linnéen. In parallel, it translates many texts mainly of the Moslem time of the Aragon. It contributes to make known with the Spaniards of many foreign authors like Galien, Euclide, Newton, Descartes, Lamarck, etc
