Ienobu Tokugawa
Ienobu Tokugawa (徳川家宣 Tokugawa Ienobu , 1662 - 1712) is the sixth Shogun Shogunat Tokugawa with the Japan. (R. 1709 - 1712).
Grandson of the third Shogun Iemitsu (and nephew of Ietsuna and Tsunayoshi), Ienobu employed Akifusa Manabe and took the advice of the preacher Confucianist Hakuseki Arai.
Its reign, like that of its successor Ietsugu, is famous for prosperity and the peace which the country knew and is known under the name Shotoku No Chi (正徳の治), given according to a Japanese Ère.
