Ielena Joupieva

Ielena Joupieva , born the April 18th 1960, is a former athlete, specialist in the basic races and which represented the Soviet Union.

With the Olympic Games of summer of 1988 with Seoul, it gained the bronze medal over 10.000 m behind its compatriot Olga Bondarenko and the Britannique Liz McColgan.

The previous year, she had been crowned vice-champion of the world at the same distance.
