Identity soup

identity Soup , soup with the pig, and Gallic soup are names employed to indicate a Soup kitchen made up with meat of Porc, aiming at excluding the people who do not want to consume this meat for religious reasons.

History

In 2004, in the district of the Station of the East in Paris, an identity soup is organized at the instigation of the identity Bloc.

The idea is taken up with Nice the December 28th 2005 by an association close to the identity Block. The concept was then diffused in Belgium. These soups were the object of criticism because the pig represents a food interdict in the Jewish and Moslem religions: thus, except missing with their faith, the Jews and Moslem practitioners cannot benefit from this type of soup.

In 2006, Alsatian Solidarité organizes an action which generates the hostility of many political parties and of associations of Strasbourg which obtained from it the prohibition and the translation of the president of association in front of the High authority of fight against discriminations and for the equality.

According to the daily newspaper Humanity the Minister of Interior Department of the time, Nicolas Sarkozy, supported by the mayor of Paris of the time, Bertrand Delanoë, then seizes the Council of State which by an ordinance of the Juge of the summary procedures of January 5th, 2007 gives him reason by cancelling the ordinance returned in first authority. The Council retains that such an action, from its discriminatory nature , is likely to be able to disturb the Law and order since the distribution causes to exclude certain people according to their religion. In a maintenance with the in [[Financial Times]] the president of Solidarité of the French, Odile Bonnivard, in the past member of MNR, asserts her affiliation with the identity Block; she affirms that the French tendency is the needs of the foreigners to the detriment of the people sharing her culture and its civilization and adds that Moslem or Jewish SDF are not obliged to eat its soup, alleging that there are other organizations likely to nourish them.
