Ichinomiya

Ichinomiya (一宮市, Ichinomiya-shi ) is a city (市, shi ) of the Préfecture of Aichi, with the Japan. The name of the city means first temple of the province in reference to the Temple of Masumida of old the Province of Owari. The city is often called Owari-ichinomiya in order to avoid confusion with the old borough of Ichinomiya, also located in the Préfecture of Aichi. The city was founded September 1921. April 2005 the town of Darkened and the borough of Kisogawa (District of Haguri) was integrated into Ichinomiya. Population of the east city of 377.980 inhabitants for a surface of 113.91 km ² (2005).
One of the symbols of the city is the Platycodon.
Ichinomiya counts several textile factories.
