Ichikawa
Ichikawa (市川市, Ichikawa-shi ) is a city (市, shi ) of the Préfecture of Chiba, with the Japan. The city was founded on November 3rd 1934 by the fusion of the boroughs of Ichikawa, Motoyawata and Nakayama, as well as village of Kokubun. Population of the east city of 466.320 inhabitants for a surface of 57.46 km ² (2005).
Ichikawa is twinned with the towns of Gardena, California, the United States since 1962, and Medan, Sumatra, Indonesia since 1989.
